Activities
During the photo exhibition “Snapshots of Genocide” organized by the Polish Heroes Remembrance Center and the Borges Cultural Center (exhibition which can be visited until May 8th Room 10, Viamonte & San Martín, Borges Cultural Center), the following activities will be developed:
- 25/4. 18 hs. – Ambassador José R. Sanchís Muñoz’ conference about “The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising and the argentine political context during that period of Second World War”. Later, the documental film “Hope dies last” (with English subtitles) about the Jewish Polish writer Halina Birembaum, will be screened.
- 27/4. 19 hs. – Presentation of the book “…Y elegirás la vida” by the author Adriana Schettini, who will speak about her research work and will dialogue in publich with one of the main characters of the book, Stella Knyszynska de Feigin, survivor of Bialystok ghetto and Majdanek extermination camp.
